Eligibility : Candidates interested to apply for PO post,
* Age limit : 21 – 30 yrs as on 1.03.2010
* should have Graduated (Degree) in 1st class with 60%
* must possess knowledge in Computers, MS-Office, Internet etc.,
Clerks – * Age limit : 18- 28 yrs as on 1.03.2010
* should have secured atleast 60% in 10+2 OR pass in degree
* working knowledge in Computers, MS-Office, Internet etc is necessary
* must have studied the language of the state applied,either in SSLC or 10+2 or degree level
Selection :The procedure for Probationary officer selection in Canara bank has Written Test & Interview. The objective test has questions in the following sections – 1) Quantitative Aptitude, 2) Test of Reasoning, 3) General Awareness ,
4) English .
There is negative mark for each wrong answer in objective test.Those candidates ranked high in merit list would be then called for Interview.
Application : The application fees of Rs.300(Gen/OBC) or Rs.50(SC/ST) for PO & Rs.200 or Rs.50 for Clerks has to be paid at any Canara bank branch ,using the fee payment challan(available at bank site) before 24.04.2010.
Candidates then have to register online through the bank website www.canarabank.com & fill the registration form along with necessary details,payment info etc & submit online.
