How to remove autorun.inf virus

NOTE: Some tips for not getting infected by autorun.inf virus:-
1) Dont open any removable media by double clicking. It will enhance autorun virus to enter and infect your pc. As an alternative open removable media from address bar(best way) or by right clicking and selecting explore in it.
2) Dont even open your harddrives by double clicking. It is better to open by right click and then selecting open or explore.
Primary hints through which we can confirm that our pc is infected with autorun.inf are:
1) Your hidden files cannot be seen i.e., they cannot be unhidden.
2) “Folder Options” in “View” bar will be disabled.
3) Task manager will be disabled and when you try to open it a message named
“Taskmanager has been disabled by administrator”
will be displayed. If you reach this stage must and should autorun virus must be cleaned from your pc or else your harddisk may crash.
